The novelist Michelle Huneven took me for the first time to Baldwin's original Din Tai Fung in Arcadia many years ago. Since then, I've been there with other writer friends such as Alex Espinoza, Susan Straight, Victoria Patterson, and Carribean Frzaragua. It's always a pleasure to meet in this intimate setting with some writers who want to read literature together. Before accepting the 15-day challenge, I was paralyzed by writer's block and disappointed in myself because of my lack of productivity.
